Interview with George “Corpsegrinder” Fisher of Cannibal Corpse

This is an outtake from an interview I did with Fisher for Issue 61 with New Noise Magazine.

He discusses the impact that Twisted Sister's third album, 'Stay Hungry,' had on him as a youth and a touring musician. Specifically the song "The Price," and how deeply he connected to the lyrics while being out on the road and away from his family; but in the same breath, it inspired him to remain strong and keep going. He goes on to talk about how that and Grim Reaper's 'See You In Hell' were the first two albums he ever purchased with his own money.

Furthermore, he encourages younger musicians to be confident! Corpsegrinder is an absolute legend with undeniable charisma and a heart of gold. Not to mention, a growl that conquers all.
